Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years experience in reservations or host roles within fine dining or similar establishments
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- knowledge of reservation management systems is highly preferred
- ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- passion for hospitality and guest service excellence
Job Qualifications
- 1-3 years of reservations or host experience in fine dining restaurants or establishments of similar caliber
- organized and motivating with excellent communication skills
- personable and able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- working knowledge of reservation management systems preferred
- passionate about hospitality as a career and profession
Job Duties
- greet guests in a warm, friendly and sincere manner
- provide a warm welcome and a fond farewell upon departure
- answers phone calls and guest inquiries
- has full knowledge of the floor plan and seating charts
- manage the day to day reservations, walk-in and cancellations/no-show in the reservation system
- seat guests in accordance to their preferences and under the direction of the manager on duty
- responsible for the overall presentation, cleanliness and organization of the assigned guest service areas, such as the coat check, bathrooms, and other guest spaces
- guides guest to assigned table and ensure their satisfaction
