Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience as a host or hostess preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including carrying at least 25 pounds daily and standing or walking for extended periods
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to use POS system effectively
- ability to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work areas
- reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- previous host/hostess experience preferred
- ability to wipe down tabletops, table legs, pick up debris and wipe down booth seats
- reading, writing and superior communication skills required
- communicates confidently with guests creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere
Job Duties
- Greets, engages and seats guests in a timely and controlled manner
- accommodates special needs such as boosters, highchairs, disabilities and large parties
- opens doors for arriving and departing guests
- explains features and limited time offerings consistently
- manages the wait list quoting accurate times
- provides assistance to servers
- maintains clean and organized work and entry areas including windows and floors
- checks restroom cleanliness every 30 minutes
- uses POS system to clock in/out, process orders and complete end of shift procedures
