Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Six months of restaurant service experience preferred
Good communication skills
Ability to multitask and collaborate with team members
Positive personality and strong work ethic
Ability to handle high stress levels during busy service hours
Physical ability to carry items up to 40 pounds and remain on feet for extended periods
Ability to work weekends as needed

Job Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of restaurant service experience preferred
Good communication skills
Ability to multitask and work well with others
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Good phone skills and customer interaction

Job Duties

Greet members/guests at the door and seat in the appropriate dining room
Provide menus and notify servers of table while controlling the flow of guests being seated in multiple dining rooms
Take reservations in reservation system adhering to set reservation levels and noting special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries
Answer telephone calls properly and provide general Club information to members and guests
Check voicemail messages and return calls promptly confirming reservations at least one day in advance
Assist with service as needed including pouring water or coffee
Reset tables as required
Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area
Complete all opening and closing sidework and weekly cleaning duties
Attend all required staff meetings
Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
Maintain a safe working environment
Perform any tasks assigned by server captain, supervisor, or manager
Work effectively under high volume conditions
Adhere to safety, health, and Club standards
