Job Duties
- Greets and seats all guests in a friendly manner
- Assists in maintaining the overall guest flow in the dining area
- Ensures seating service is rotated among server area assignments whenever possible
- Opens doors for arriving and departing guests
- Remains visible in the front of house and facing the main entrance
- Occasionally delivers food and drinks to guests when extra assistance is needed
- Interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Completes assigned opening and closing side work as required
- Participates in clearing and resetting dining room tables using team delivery standards
- Observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates guests’ needs
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Explains and demonstrates usage of tabletop electronic devices to guests
- Drives sales with suggestive selling
- Accommodates special needs such as booster chairs and high chairs
- Manages the waitlist during peak times
- May serve guests in Carside To-Go or Server roles occasionally
- Fills out feature sheets and assists with front of house maintenance including restroom upkeep, light cleaning duties, rolling silverware, and maintaining curb appeal
- Operates phones, soda fountains, tabletop electronic devices, and cleaning tools effectively
