Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a host or hostess preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks like carrying 25+ pounds daily
- Capable of standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, reaching frequently
- Able to use point of sale system effectively
- Must demonstrate superior communication skills
- Availability for shifts of 8 or more hours
- Able to work in variable environmental conditions including heat, cold, and noise
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Previous host or hostess experience preferred
- Ability to wipe down tables, legs, and booth seats
- Superior reading, writing and communication skills
- Confident and friendly communication with guests
Job Duties
- Greets guests and seats them warmly and promptly
- Manages wait list and quotes accurate wait times
- Assists servers as needed
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of entry and work areas
- Checks and maintains restrooms cleanliness every 30 minutes
- Uses point of sale system for clock-in/out, order processing and end of shift tasks
- Performs side duties including answering phones, bussing tables, washing dishes, expediting orders, and running food
