Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year experience in upscale restaurant or relevant qualification in the hospitality industry
  • excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • good time management skills
  • professional dress, speech, and behavior
  • basic computer knowledge
  • experience with Microsoft Office and Open Table
  • able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
  • able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Manages guest reservations and greets and seats guests on arrival
  • assigns work tasks and coordinates activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service
  • manages supplies and ensures orderly work areas
  • prepares deposits and maintains a cash management system
  • ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies
  • maintains complete knowledge of the restaurant features, cuisine, general information and hours of operations
  • ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company standards, policies and procedures
  • ensures Open Table is managed in a professional manner
  • reviews all reservations and communicates all special requests to managers, servers and kitchen to ensure prompt and courteous service
