Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience in an upscale restaurant or hospitality setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Open Table
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism under pressure
- Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects
- Availability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to reliability, organization, and attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in upscale restaurant or relevant qualification in the hospitality industry
- Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Manages guest reservations and greets and seats guests on arrival
- Assigns work tasks and coordinates activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service
- Manages supplies and ensures orderly work areas
- Prepares deposits and maintains a cash management system
- Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies
- Maintains complete knowledge of the restaurant features, cuisine, general information and hours of operations
- Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company standards, policies and procedures
- Ensures Open Table is managed in a professional manner
- Reviews all reservations and communicates all special requests to managers, servers and kitchen to ensure prompt and courteous service
