Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum one year experience as a host in fast-casual dining
  • Proficiency in POS systems
  • Valid alcohol and food certification according to state regulations
  • Ability to communicate verbally in Spanish
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical capability to meet the demands of a restaurant environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum one year experience as a host in fast-casual restaurant industry
  • Proficient in point of sale (POS) systems
  • Current alcohol and food handling certifications as per state requirements
  • Ability to verbally communicate in Spanish
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organizational standards
  • Knowledge of team leadership and conflict resolution techniques

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests warmly and manage waitlists
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
  • Manage reservation systems and coordinate table availability
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any seating issues or concerns professionally
  • Support the team during busy periods by assisting in other front-of-house duties as needed
