Job Requirements
- Ability to transport up to 30 lbs continuously
- Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart or truck weighing up to 100 lbs
- Constant standing and walking required
- Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, talking, hearing, seeing, and smiling
- Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- Must adhere to all company policies and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations
- Knowledge of service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
- Ability to communicate in English sufficiently to understand inquiries and give simple instructions
- Knowledge of state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations
- Hold or be in process of obtaining a Food Handler Card
Job Duties
- Provide arriving guests with a prompt, gracious greeting, and seat them comfortably with menus
- Take reservations by phone and in person, providing helpful, accurate responses to inquiries
- Ensure that tables are clean and set before seating guests and seating charts for station rotations are maintained
- Tidy the service podium, keeping it organized, and maintain a supply inventory
- Serve guests with beverages, breads, and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary
- Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
