Job Requirements
- Ability to read, understand, analyze and interpret training manuals and technical procedures
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
- Ability to identify problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables
- Minimum one year of customer service experience, preferably in food service industry
- State food handler certification
- Responsible beverage service (RBS) certification
- Professional and friendly manner
- Strong verbal communication skills

Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and professionally as they enter the restaurant
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Communicate wait times and accommodate special seating requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations
- Collaborate with servers and management to ensure smooth service
- Understand and anticipate the needs of our members and guests
- Operate cash register, process payments through cash or credit card handling and/or member account charges
- Perform restaurant opening and/or closing duties as required
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment according to State and Local food safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive, listening carefully, and following through
- Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate
- Actively participate in events, programs, meetings and training
- Represent the club professionally through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through
- Work varied schedule including weekends, holidays, days and evenings
