Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and acknowledge all within five feet
- Seat guests based on their preferences when possible
- Rotate seating with servers to balance workload and ensure prompt service
- Provide departing guests with a warm farewell and invitation to return
- Support service team members by bussing dishes, sanitizing, and resetting tables
- Manage guest placement at the entrance to enhance experience and safety
- Provide accurate wait times and recommend waiting options
- Answer incoming restaurant calls in a friendly, professional manner
- Maintain a neat and organized workstation and entrance area
- Complete host opening and closing sidework tasks
- Ensure restrooms are clean, tidy, and stocked
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Notify management of potential issues with guests or wait times
