Job Requirements

  • At least 16 years old
  • Friendly and engaging demeanor

Job Duties

  • Greets and seats all guests in a friendly manner
  • Assists in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant
  • Ensures seating service is rotated among server area assignments
  • Opens doors for arriving and departing guests
  • Remains visible in the front of house facing the main entrance
  • Occasionally delivers food and drinks to guests
  • Interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
  • Completes assigned opening and closing side work
  • Participates in clearing and resetting dining room tables using team delivery
  • Observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates guest needs
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area
  • Explains and demonstrates usage of tabletop electronic devices to guests
  • Drives sales with suggestive selling
  • Accommodates special guest needs such as booster chairs and high chairs
  • Manages waitlist during busy periods
  • May occasionally serve guests in Carside To-Go or server roles
  • Fills out feature sheets
  • Assists in general front of house maintenance such as maintaining restrooms, light cleaning, wiping windows, trash removal, and setting up expo line
  • Maintains restaurant curb appeal
