Job Requirements

At least 16 years old
Friendly and engaging demeanor
Prior work experience preferred
Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required
Bi-lingual experience a plus
Reliable transportation

Job Duties

Greets and seats all guests in a friendly manner
Assists in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant
Ensures seating service is rotated among server area assignments
Opens doors for arriving and departing guests
Remains visible in the front of house facing the main entrance
Occasionally delivers food and drinks to guests
Interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
Completes assigned opening and closing side work
Participates in clearing and resetting dining room tables using team delivery
Observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates guest needs
Maintains a clean and organized work area
Explains and demonstrates usage of tabletop electronic devices to guests
Drives sales with suggestive selling
Accommodates special guest needs such as booster chairs and high chairs
Manages waitlist during busy periods
May occasionally serve guests in Carside To-Go or server roles
Fills out feature sheets
Assists in general front of house maintenance such as maintaining restrooms, light cleaning, wiping windows, trash removal, and setting up expo line
Maintains restaurant curb appeal
