Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in a hospitality or customer service role
  • Open availability to work varied hours including weekends and evenings
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
  • Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Adherence to company policies and safety procedures
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a host or hostess role
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with reservation systems such as SevenRooms
  • Ability to manage guest interactions with patience and professionalism
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings
  • Knowledge of food safety and customer service best practices

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly and warmly based on availability or seating preferences
  • Present menus and ensure all guests feel valued, acknowledged, and welcomed
  • Review guest reservations and notes to ensure accuracy and maximize seating through the reservation system
  • Observe the dining room and manage the status of clean, dirty, and occupied tables
  • Engage with guests throughout their visit including assisting with belongings and ensuring a positive departure experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area, menus, and restrooms throughout the shift
  • Assist with occasional bussing and food service while adhering to safe food handling standards
