Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age unless state law dictates otherwise
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to reach, bend, squat, and lift up to 20 lbs for short distances
- Basic proficiency in reading and writing
- Ability to communicate clearly and timely with managers, team members, and guests
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment is preferred
- Must arrive to work on time and ready to perform duties
- Willingness to adhere to company safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Be friendly, approachable, and attentive at all times.
Job Qualifications

- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred

- Ability to operate front door seating software

Job Duties
- Showcases a warm, upbeat, and energetic demeanor to Guests
- Arrives to work on time as scheduled and ready to work
- Follows Miller's Ale House policies in all respects, including time recording requirements such as clocking in and out
- Greets Guests in a warm and friendly manner while also acknowledging all Guests within five feet
- Seats Guests based on their seating preference when possible
- Rotates seating with different servers to ensure even workloads and prompt service
- Provides departing Guests with a warm salutation thanking them and inviting them to return
- Supports Service Team Members in bussing dishes, sanitizing, and resetting tables on an as-needed basis
- Supports other front of house Team Members to ensure timely fulfillment of Guest requests
- Manages Guest placement in the entrance area to enhance experience and ensure safety
- Provides accurate wait times and suggests waiting options such as bar seating
- Answers incoming restaurant calls professionally
- Maintains a neat and organized workstation and entrance area
- Completes tasks on Host opening and closing sidework charts
- Ensures restrooms are clean, tidy, and stocked
- Communicates with Team Members and Management
- Ensures side work completion and proper station stocking
- Notifies Management immediately of potential issues with Guests, Team Members, or long wait times
- Adheres to safety and sanitation protocols including handwashing every 20 minutes
- Maintains clean and sanitized work areas
- Supports all front-of-house functions recognizing their impact on Guest experience
- Exhibits friendly disposition and attentiveness
- Communicates positively
- Provides exceptional service
- Multitasks in a fast-paced environment
- Uses restaurant's seating software
- Sets up Team Members for success at shift change.
