Job Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience in a guest-facing role within a high-volume restaurant
  • Proficiency with the OpenTable reservation system
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate table flow simultaneously
  • A warm, welcoming presence with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Welcome and greet guests warmly, setting the tone for their dining experience
  • Manage reservations and waitlists through the reservation system, giving accurate wait times during peak periods
  • Coordinate guest seating with the service and management teams to maintain smooth flow of service
  • Communicate special requests, accessibility needs, or large party details to the team
  • Maintain a polished and organized host stand, entrance, and waiting areas
  • Answer phones professionally, assisting with inquiries, reservations, and takeout orders
  • Support opening and closing procedures for the host stand and entrance area
  • Assist management in training, guiding, and setting expectations for the host team
