Job Requirements

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Ability to bend, twist, and stand for normal job functions

  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and short correspondence

Job Duties

  • Maintain consistent attention to the entrance of the restaurant and welcome guests with a smile and appropriate greeting
  • Record customer reservations or seating times consistently providing high quality service
  • Maintain and update restaurant seating charts
  • Properly set up and maintain the dining room areas before serving
  • Assist with maintaining sufficient stock of roll up silverware for the incoming shift
  • Seat guests and advise them on menus and beverage choices based on in-depth knowledge
  • Oversee the delivery and servicing of food and beverages
  • Liaise between kitchen staff and floor staff to ensure guests experience meets company standards
  • Perform duties of cashier or bus person as required including cashing out guest checks
  • Follow cash handling policies and maintain proper cash security
  • Patrol assigned station refilling water and coffee and removing service items
  • Perform other team duties during downtime such as rolling silverware, expediting food orders, washing dishes, preparing food for To-go areas and cleaning and filling table condiments
