Job Requirements

Minimum age of 18 years unless otherwise dictated by state law
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to reach, bend, squat, and lift up to 20 lbs for short distances
Capable of working in fast-paced, high-stress environments
Willingness to comply with safety and sanitation protocols
Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner
Basic reading and writing skills
Punctuality and reliability
Commitment to completing assigned tasks and supporting teamwork

Job Qualifications

Maintains punctuality and arrives to work on time ready to work
Follows Miller's Ale House policies including time recording requirements
Possesses strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrates the ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment
Basic reading and handwriting skills with ability to operate the restaurant's front door seating software
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law

Job Duties

Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner while acknowledging all guests within five feet
Seat guests based on their seating preference when possible
Rotate seating with different servers to ensure even workloads and prompt service
Provide departing guests with a warm salutation thanking them for their visit and inviting them to return
Support service team members in bussing dishes, sanitizing, and resetting tables as needed
Manage the placement of guests within the entrance area for enhanced guest experience and safety
Answer incoming restaurant calls in a friendly, professional manner
