Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Possession of a valid Food Handlers Card in the state of employment
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for guest service
- Basic computer skills to operate seating systems
- Ability to handle guest complaints and difficult situations with diplomacy and tact
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Valid Food Handlers Card for applicable states (California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, Virginia)
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to operate computer seating systems
- Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred but not required
- Demonstrated ability to manage guest relations and resolve conflicts professionally
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Job Duties
- Greet guests with enthusiasm and warmth upon arrival
- Manage wait times by informing guests and using computerized seating system
- Escort guests to their tables and distribute menus
- Answer phone calls and respond to questions about the menu, reservations, and restaurant information
- Address guest complaints using the AIM (Apologize, Investigate, Management) process
- Communicate clearly in writing and speaking
- Maintain a guest-focused attitude and multitask in a fast-paced environment
