Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hosting or customer service preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as carrying 25+ pounds daily, reaching high and low shelves, crouching, kneeling, stooping, standing and walking for extended periods
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Comfortable using POS systems and basic order processing
  • Must maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to perform side duties including bussing tables, washing dishes, answering phones, running food
  • Ability to work shifts of 8 hours or longer

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Previous host/hostess experience preferred
  • Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris from floors, and wipe booth seats in all restaurant areas
  • Superior reading, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with guests confidently creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere

Job Duties

  • Greets, engages, and seats guests in a timely and controlled manner
  • Accommodates special guest needs such as boosters, highchairs, disabilities, large parties
  • Opens doors for arriving and departing guests
  • Consistently explains features and limited-time offerings
  • Manages the wait list as needed, quoting accurate times
  • Provides assistance to servers
  • Maintains clean and organized work and entry areas, including windows, floors
  • Checks the overall cleanliness of restrooms every 30 minutes
  • Uses the POS system accurately to clock in/out, process orders and complete end-of-shift procedures
