Job Requirements

  • 16 plus years old
  • reliable transportation required
  • ability to wipe down table tops, legs, and pick up debris
  • ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for up to four hours per shift
  • must have good balance and ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel
  • ability to frequently lift and bus pans and trays weighing up to 25 pounds
  • must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively
  • ability to transport and carry objects like high chairs weighing up to 15 pounds

Job Duties

  • Greets and seats all guests in a friendly manner
  • assists in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant
  • ensures seating service is rotated among server area assignments
  • opens doors for arriving and departing guests
  • remains visible in the front of house facing main entrance
  • occasionally delivers food and drinks to guests
  • interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly atmosphere
  • completes assigned opening and closing side work
  • participates in clearing and resetting dining room tables using team delivery
  • observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates needs
  • maintains a clean and organized work area
  • explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
  • drives sales with suggestive selling
  • accommodates special guest needs such as booster chairs and high chairs
  • manages the waitlist during peak times
  • may be scheduled to serve guests in Carside To-Go or Server To-Go roles
  • fills out feature sheets as required
  • assists in general front of house maintenance including restrooms, light cleaning, washing windows, sani-bucket rotation, expo line setup, trash emptying, silverware rolling, and maintaining curb appeal
