Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
excellent communication skills
ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
physically able to stand and walk for extended periods
basic knowledge of reservation software
attention to detail and problem-solving skills

knowledge of restaurant seating protocols

Job Duties

Greet customers as they arrive
schedule dining reservations
decide on seating arrangements for groups
direct dining room personnel based on customer needs
ensure accommodations for special needs requests
provide menus and explain specials
introduce guests to their servers
inspect and maintain dining facilities cleanliness
instruct buss personnel and waiters
assist in clearing tables
hold doors open and help guests to their vehicles as needed
