Job Requirements
- Prior restaurant experience preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers
- Food handler's card is required according to local and state regulations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and restaurant needs
- Ability to stand and walk continually throughout an eight-hour shift
- Ability to attend work as scheduled, working various schedules and shifts including some holidays and most weekends
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Job Duties
- Identify & deliver exceptional service by greeting and serving our guests
- Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the restaurant's menu and products
- Greet and seat guests, present menus, inform them of daily specials
- Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
- Treat all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction and strive to exceed guests' expectations
- Take names on a waiting list and quote wait times accurately when tables are not immediately available
- Run the floor plan board and keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables
- Clean, organize, and stock menus at host area
- Answer phone calls and questions concerning the menu and restaurant
- Interact with guests as they arrive and depart to ensure a positive dining experience
- Fill to-go orders, roll silverware, and set up for the following day
- Maintain cleanliness of host stand and entrance area by mopping and sweeping frequently
- Maintain restrooms throughout the shift
