Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Capacity to stand and walk for long periods
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations calmly
Job Qualifications
- Previous host, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy restaurant environment
- Dependable and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a welcoming first impression of the restaurant
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus when appropriate
- Communicate with servers and management to maintain smooth service flow
- Monitor dining room activity and adjust seating plans as needed
- Answer guest questions about the restaurant, menus, and hotel amenities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
- Assist with to-go orders or guest inquiries when needed
- Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return
