Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to follow directions and maintain attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must comply with cash handling procedures and security policies

- Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner

- Comfortable conversing with customers
Job Duties
- Maintain consistent attention to the restaurant entrance and welcome guests with a smile and appropriate greeting
- Record customer reservations or seating times consistently providing high-quality service
- Maintain and update restaurant seating charts
- Properly set up and maintain dining room areas before serving
- Assist with maintaining sufficient stock of roll-up silverware for the incoming shift
- Seat guests and advise them on menus and beverage choices based on in-depth knowledge
- Oversee the delivery and servicing of food and beverages
- Liaise between kitchen staff and floor staff to ensure guest experience meets company standards
- Perform cashier and/or bus person tasks as required including cashing out guest checks to speed up service
- Follow cash handling policies and maintain proper security of cash
- Patrol assigned station refilling water and coffee and removing service items and condiments
- Perform team duties during downtime such as rolling silverware, expediting food orders, washing dishes, preparing food for To-go areas, and cleaning and filling table condiments
