Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred
Ability to stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Job Qualifications

Customer service experience preferred
Cash handling experience preferred
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret restaurant seating charts
Friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing personality
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Ability to interact positively with the public and coworkers

Job Duties

Maintain consistent attention to the restaurant entrance and welcome guests with a smile and proper greeting
Record customer reservations or seating times accurately ensuring high quality service
Maintain and update restaurant seating charts
Properly set up and maintain dining room areas before service
Assist with stocking roll-up silverware for shifts
Seat guests and advise on menu and beverage choices
Oversee delivery and servicing of food and beverages
Liaise between kitchen and floor staff to meet company standards
Perform cashier or bus person duties as required
Follow cash handling policies and maintain cash security
Patrol station refilling water and coffee and removing service items
Perform team duties during downtime such as rolling silverware, expediting orders, washing dishes, preparing to-go food, and cleaning condiments
