Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred
  • Ability to stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret restaurant seating charts
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing personality
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to interact positively with the public and coworkers

Job Duties

  • Maintain consistent attention to the restaurant entrance and welcome guests with a smile and proper greeting
  • Record customer reservations or seating times accurately ensuring high quality service
  • Maintain and update restaurant seating charts
  • Properly set up and maintain dining room areas before service
  • Assist with stocking roll-up silverware for shifts
  • Seat guests and advise on menu and beverage choices
  • Oversee delivery and servicing of food and beverages
  • Liaise between kitchen and floor staff to meet company standards
  • Perform cashier or bus person duties as required
  • Follow cash handling policies and maintain cash security
  • Patrol station refilling water and coffee and removing service items
  • Perform team duties during downtime such as rolling silverware, expediting orders, washing dishes, preparing to-go food, and cleaning condiments
