Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills for calculating wait times
- Ability to use phone and computer systems
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for handling reservations and orders
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Good physical stamina for standing and moving frequently
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests
- Communicate features to customers
- Answer telephone
- Take reservations
- Take out orders
- Clear, clean, and set tables
- Move tables and chairs
- Assist in taking out food and re-filling beverages
- Maintain cleanliness of foyer, hostess area, waiting area, and applicable restrooms
