Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role preferred
  • Ability to stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to perform various tasks as needed
  • Ability to follow cash handling procedures

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to read and interpret seating charts
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
  • Ability to interact effectively with guests and coworkers
  • Good communication skills including speaking, reading, and comprehension

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a smile and appropriate greeting following customer service standards
  • Record customer reservations or seating times accurately
  • Maintain and update restaurant seating charts
  • Set up and maintain dining room areas before service
  • Assist with stocking roll up silverware for shifts
  • Seat guests and advise on menus and beverage choices
  • Oversee delivery and servicing of food and beverages
  • Liaise between kitchen and floor staff to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Perform cashier and bus person duties as needed
  • Follow cash handling policies and maintain cash security
  • Patrol assigned station refilling water and coffee, removing service items
  • Perform additional duties such as rolling silverware, expediting orders, washing dishes, preparing to-go food, and maintaining table condiments
