Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role preferred
Ability to stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to perform various tasks as needed
Ability to follow cash handling procedures

Job Qualifications

Customer service experience preferred
Cash handling experience preferred
Excellent organization skills
Ability to read and interpret seating charts
Friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
Ability to interact effectively with guests and coworkers
Good communication skills including speaking, reading, and comprehension

Job Duties

Greet guests with a smile and appropriate greeting following customer service standards
Record customer reservations or seating times accurately
Maintain and update restaurant seating charts
Set up and maintain dining room areas before service
Assist with stocking roll up silverware for shifts
Seat guests and advise on menus and beverage choices
Oversee delivery and servicing of food and beverages
Liaise between kitchen and floor staff to ensure guest satisfaction
Perform cashier and bus person duties as needed
Follow cash handling policies and maintain cash security
Patrol assigned station refilling water and coffee, removing service items
Perform additional duties such as rolling silverware, expediting orders, washing dishes, preparing to-go food, and maintaining table condiments
