Job Requirements
- must be at least 16 years old
- high school diploma or GED required
- associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- availability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
Job Qualifications
- a minimum of 1 year's experience as a host in the fast-casual restaurant industry
- proficiency in POS systems
- current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements
- strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution
- strong attention to detail
- strong communication skills with the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- ability to withstand the physical demands of a restaurant environment
Job Duties
- welcome guests and create memorable first impressions
- manage guest seating efficiently and maintain waiting lists
- communicate effectively with the kitchen and service team to ensure customer satisfaction
- maintain cleanliness and organization in the host station and dining area
- handle guest inquiries and resolve minor complaints in a courteous manner
- assist in coordinating reservations and seating arrangements
- support team members during busy periods to maintain smooth restaurant operations
