Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Comfortable with technology and computer systems
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- People-person who loves creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Experience working with customers or restaurant guests
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills
- Comfortable working with computers
- Ability to stand for periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds if needed
Job Duties
- Greet guests and warmly welcome to the restaurant upon arrival
- Make all guests feel comfortable and let them know you are there to personally take care of them
- Know regular guests by name and understand their preferences and needs
- Record guest's name and number of people in party during wait times, provide estimated waiting time, and seat guests as soon as tables become available
- Seat guests based on preferences while balancing customer flow
- Present guests with menus when seated and ensure tables are clean, tidy, and up to standards
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return soon
