Job Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and guest services
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Physical ability to sit stand reach bend stoop and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules reflecting the business needs of the facility
  • Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations service equipment and guest relations
  • Ability to read the English language to fully comprehend guest requests memos reservations promotional materials event orders and similar written materials
  • Ability to move throughout a crowded room to seat guests
  • Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner involving active listening empathy and providing solutions
  • Must maintain a neat clean and well-groomed appearance according to company standards

Job Duties

  • Meet and greet guests as they arrive and escort them to their table and present menu
  • Maintain host desk and all menus tidy clean neat
  • Receive record and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant
  • Maintain an open line of communication between guests management and other team members
  • Observe all safety procedures during the execution of assigned duties
  • Work efficiently as a team
