Job Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and guest services
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Physical ability to sit stand reach bend stoop and lift up to 40 pounds
- Flexibility to work varying schedules reflecting the business needs of the facility
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of restaurant operations service equipment and guest relations
- Ability to read the English language to fully comprehend guest requests memos reservations promotional materials event orders and similar written materials
- Ability to move throughout a crowded room to seat guests
- Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner involving active listening empathy and providing solutions
- Must maintain a neat clean and well-groomed appearance according to company standards
Job Duties
- Meet and greet guests as they arrive and escort them to their table and present menu
- Maintain host desk and all menus tidy clean neat
- Receive record and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant
- Maintain an open line of communication between guests management and other team members
- Observe all safety procedures during the execution of assigned duties
- Work efficiently as a team
