Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests immediately upon arrival and verify number in their party
- determine special needs such as high chairs or special menus
- seat customers at tables or booths suitable for their needs and restaurant capacity
- suggest new menu items from limited time offerings
- receive payment and make correct change in accordance with cash handling procedures
- assist with beverage orders including bold, signature, or flavored coffees
- clean and organize hosting area, ensure it is stocked with necessary supplies
- assist other team members willingly, providing support where needed
- handle incoming telephone calls and take to-go orders
- provide total guest satisfaction by engaging in friendly conversation
- periodically offer initial beverage suggestions and provide refills
- assist service personnel in clearing and setting tables
- resolve guest complaints promptly and notify management as necessary
