Job Requirements
- Less than high school education
- Up to one month related experience or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and speak English
- Assigned including work in other areas to cover absences or relief to equalize peak work periods or otherwise balance the workload
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Knowledge of dining room operations
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers, guests and employees both verbally and in writing
- Able to perform basic math computations
- Able to perform duties safely
Job Duties
- Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed
- Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture values and mission of The Club at ArrowCreek
- Develops positive relationships with shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs and concerns
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Ascertains their dining/lodging needs
- Seats guests and manage the seating chart
- Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
- Performs opening and closing duties, as needed
- Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc
- Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
- Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, and lobby
- Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as directions and information
- Maintains the lobby in a neat and orderly fashion
- Assists with all food and beverage activities
- Assists in educating guests regarding policy, current wait times, restaurant information and all other requested information they may require
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Performs other duties as required
