Oyster House is a vibrant, fast-paced seafood restaurant located at PHL Airport, earning its reputation for serving fresh oysters and a wide selection of sustainable seafood dishes. As a Host at Oyster House, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering the restaurant, tasked with creating a warm and organized atmosphere that sets the tone for an excellent dining experience. This role is essential in managing the flow of guests smoothly and efficiently and ensuring that the seating process is optimized to accommodate reservations and walk-ins alike. The Host will also assist with maintaining the cleanliness and order of the entrance area, handle phone inquiries and reservations, and work closely with servers and management to ensure seamless operations.
This position requires a friendly and approachable demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. While previous hosting or customer service experience is preferred, it is not strictly required, as the right attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. The Host will also be responsible for assisting with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the host station.
