Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in the casual restaurant industry preferred
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Availability to work within open hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • Familiarity with a POS system is preferred
  • ServSafe certification is preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds

Job Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Seat guests efficiently to maintain optimal guest flow
  • Assist in managing waiting lists and reservations
  • Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen staff about guest seating and needs
  • Monitor dining room activity to anticipate guest needs and maintain smooth operations
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and dining entrance area
