Job Duties
- Greet and welcome customers immediately upon arrival
- Verify number in party and determine special needs such as high chairs or special menus
- Suggest new menu items, especially limited-time offerings
- Handle payment transactions and make correct change following cash handling procedures
- Seat customers at appropriate tables or booths and introduce features of the day
- Keep hostess area stocked and clean including to-go items and bakery products
- Handle incoming telephone calls and take to-go orders as appropriate
