Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift, handle, and carry trays, smallwares, and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
  • must have a good sense of balance and ability to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat frequently
  • must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to four hours
  • must be able to communicate effectively and listen attentively

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests with a genuine smile and positive attitude
  • manage the flow of guests by taking reservations, assigning tables, and ensuring efficient seating
  • calculate and provide accurate wait times while keeping guests informed
  • maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host station and waiting area
  • communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and fair seating
  • escort guests to their assigned tables, present menus, and assist with seating arrangements
  • engage with guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to inquiries or concerns
