Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine the number of individuals in the group
  • Seat guests at clean and available tables, ensuring menus and seating arrangements are set appropriately
  • Guide guests through dining areas and provide assistance as needed
  • Move and arrange tables, chairs, and utensils to accommodate special group requirements
  • Ensure proper place settings including clean napkins and utensils for each guest
  • Check that menus are updated, clean, complete, and wrinkle-free
  • Maintain cleanliness in work areas throughout the day
  • Monitor seating availability, service quality, guest safety, and overall well-being in dining rooms
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures and report any accidents or unsafe conditions
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality and company property protection
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and coworkers and handle phone calls according to protocol
  • Foster positive workplace relationships and support team goals
  • Stay on feet, walk or sit for prolonged periods
  • Lift or move objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
