Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift, handle and carry trays, smallwares and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests with a genuine smile and positive attitude
  • Manage the flow of guests by taking reservations, assigning tables, and ensuring efficient seating
  • Calculate and provide accurate wait times, keep guests informed
  • Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area including the host station and waiting area
  • Communicate with servers and kitchen staff for smooth seating process
  • Escort guests to assigned tables, present menus, assist with seating arrangements and accommodate special requests
  • Engage with guests, anticipate needs, respond promptly to inquiries or concerns
  • Maintain knowledge of menu, specials, and promotions to provide accurate information
  • Handle guest complaints professionally or escalate to manager
  • Assist in coordinating reservations and managing the wait list
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction
  • Monitor and manage smooth and efficient table turnover
  • Maintain professional appearance, adhere to grooming and dress code
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the restaurant
