Job Duties
- Greet guests and determine the number in their party
- seat guests by finding a clean, available table
- pull out chairs
- place clean or current menu in front of guest
- guide guests through dining rooms and provide needed assistance
- move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings
- organize seating for groups with special needs
- ensure place settings are appropriate and complete
- check menus for cleanliness, currency, abundance, and presentation
- maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
- monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being
- follow company safety and security policies and report incidents
- maintain clean and professional personal appearance
- welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- speak clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues
- answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
- support team goals and respond to employee concerns
- ensure adherence to quality standards
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
