Job Duties

  • Welcome guests as they enter the restaurant or bar area and seat them at assigned tables
  • manage reservations and seating chart to ensure timely and efficient service
  • communicate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks
  • answer guest inquiries and provide information about menu items, specials, and promotions
  • maintain a clean and organized work area, including lobby and entrance
  • monitor dining room for seating availability, cleanliness, and proper service flow
  • assist with opening and closing duties, such as setting tables, rolling silverware, and restocking supplies
  • handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
  • collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive and cohesive work environment
