Job Duties
- Welcome guests as they enter the restaurant or bar area and seat them at assigned tables
- manage reservations and seating chart to ensure timely and efficient service
- communicate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks
- answer guest inquiries and provide information about menu items, specials, and promotions
- maintain a clean and organized work area, including lobby and entrance
- monitor dining room for seating availability, cleanliness, and proper service flow
- assist with opening and closing duties, such as setting tables, rolling silverware, and restocking supplies
- handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
- collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive and cohesive work environment
