Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior healthcare experience a plus
- Able to follow oral and written instructions
- Customer service oriented
- Effectively communicates with customers, clients and management
- Ability to do basic math
- Able to work with minimal supervision and alone
- Ability to interact with kitchen and supervisory staff

Job Duties
- Provide personalized meal service to hospital patients including assisting with meal selection, serve meals to patients, clear soiled and used trays from patients
- Stock nursing unit pantries with supplies
- Transport meal carts to and from patient floors
- Break down meal carts and perform side work duties assigned by management
- Serve cafeteria customers in a friendly and courteous manner
- Stock various cafeteria areas and maintain general sanitation
- Assist other cafeteria and patient service staff as needed
- Maintain record keeping of safe food temperatures and refrigeration temperatures
