Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience helpful
  • Ability to stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend English
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to handle cash securely
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to engage positively with guests and team members

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and seat them at appropriate tables
  • Record customer reservations or seating times accurately
  • Maintain and update restaurant seating charts
  • Set up and maintain dining room areas before service
  • Assist with stocking roll up silverware for shifts
  • Advise guests on menus and beverage choices
  • Oversee delivery and servicing of food and beverages
  • Liaise between kitchen staff and floor staff to meet service standards
  • Perform tasks of cashier or bus person as required
  • Follow cash handling policies and maintain cash security
  • Patrol assigned station refilling beverages and removing items
  • Perform additional duties like rolling silverware, expediting orders, washing dishes, preparing to-go food, and cleaning table condiments
