Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to communicate clearly in English
  • basic math skills for cash handling
  • ability to follow instructions and company policies
  • dependable and punctual
  • good physical stamina to handle work demands
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • greet guests and seat them at appropriate tables
  • record customer reservations or seating times consistently
  • maintain and update seating charts
  • properly set up and maintain dining room areas before serving
  • assist with stock of silverware for shifts
  • advise guests on menus and beverage choices
  • oversee delivery and servicing of food and beverages
  • liaise between kitchen and floor staff
  • perform cashier or bus person duties as needed
  • follow cash handling policies and maintain cash security
  • patrol assigned stations to refill water and coffee and clean areas
  • perform additional team duties including rolling silverware, expediting orders, washing dishes, preparing to-go food, and maintaining table condiments
