Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is an asset

- Basic knowledge of restaurant seating and service etiquette
Job Duties
- Greet guests and determine the number in their party
- Appropriately estimate guest wait time and relay information to guests in a professional manner
- Seat guests by finding clean, available tables, pulling out chairs, and placing menus
- Guide guests through dining rooms and provide needed assistance
- Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings for special groups
- Ensure place settings are appropriate and guests have necessary items
- Check menus for cleanliness, currency, and availability
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
- Monitor dining room for seating availability, guest service, safety, and wellbeing
- Resolve and respond to any guest issues
- Assist servers as needed
