Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability for day and evening shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and staff
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Compliance with community policies and procedures
Job Qualifications

- Experience in hospitality, customer service, or healthcare dining environment preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage and coordinate a team
- Knowledge of food service policies and procedures
- Ability to handle guest reservations and seating arrangements

- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Ensure adequate daily coverage for meal service by Health Services staff
- Assist Culinary Services Director with training Health Services staff on food service policies
- Attend staff meetings as required
- Direct resident, family, and guest feedback to community leadership
- Ensure completion of all server pre-service and post-service work
- Assign sections and tables to Health Services staff for timely service
- Oversee cleaning and preparation of dining room and tables
- Reset tables, linens, and ensure condiments are available
- Ensure drink station and salad bar are properly set
- Take meal orders and ensure staff do the same with excellent customer service
- Keep drinks filled according to guest requests
- Serve residents and guests to meet their meal choices
- Manage guest reservations and prepare Private Dining Room
- Complete cleaning checklists and responsibilities
- Set up and deliver room trays as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information
- Maintain professional appearance and positive customer service environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
