Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A minimum of six months experience and/or training in the food and beverage or customer service related industry
- Ability to communicate well in English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions in English
- Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers, and members
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Must have strong organizational skills
Job Qualifications

- A minimum of six months experience and/or training in the food and beverage or customer service related industry
- Ability to communicate well in English
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to members and guests
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet and point-of-sale (POS) electronic ordering system
Job Duties
- Greets members warmly using their name whenever possible
- Shows members to their tables, provides them with menus and ensures that the table is set properly
- Obtains membership number information and assists with any requests such as guest menus, table preference, child seating and food preparation needs
- Coordinates the flow of the dining room by balancing assigned tables among servers
- Monitors the dining area for cell phone use, appropriate attire and other rule violations
- Monitors service being provided to determine if assistance is appropriate, such as supplying bread and water
- Monitors hostess/host stand to ensure area is neat, clean, mints are refilled and menus are clean
