Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum 6 months food service or customer service experience required
- preferred 1 year healthcare food service experience
- obtain Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days
- ability to read, write, and perform basic math in English
- possess cooperative, discreet, and courteous demeanor with customers
- demonstrate good communication and organizational skills
- exhibit positive customer service skills
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
- ability to maintain focus and quality service in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 6 months experience in food service or applicable customer service experience required
- 1 year of food service experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of employment

Job Duties
- Serve patient meals
- assist with set up and prepare snacks accurately and timely
- return to patient rooms to pick up dirty trays and confirm satisfaction
- comply with hand hygiene, patient identification, and PPE requirements
- use basic diet therapy training to assist patients with menu selections
- maintain food safety requirements according to HACCP and department standards
- maintain clean and orderly work area
- monitor and deliver floor stock to designated units according to FIFO
- check and log refrigerator/freezer temperatures
- demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- resolve complaints, concerns, and questions
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
