Job Duties
- Greet and seat all guests in a warm and friendly manner in the fastest possible time
- set the tone of aggressive hospitality that continues throughout the dining experience
- control seating to prevent server overload and ensure fairness
- ensure entrance always has a greeter
- maintain hostess stand cleanliness
- track guest flow charts
- check tables for cleanliness and full setup before seating guests
- assist in service when needed
- collect guest feedback upon departure and report problems
- thank every guest
- have excellent knowledge about the city to provide suggestions
- be knowledgeable about hotel services and amenities and operating hours of food and beverage outlets
- keep reservation book clean and accurate
- answer phone professionally and courteously
- perform other duties as assigned
