Job Requirements

  • Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time
  • lift and carry up to 10-30lbs
  • must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • a friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for customer service
  • ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a busy environment
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • prior experience as a host or hostess or in a customer-facing role is preferred but not required
  • must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude
  • manage the seating chart and efficiently seat guests while balancing guest preferences and server sections
  • provide accurate wait times and ensure guests are comfortable during their wait
  • answer phone calls, take reservations, and manage the guest list
  • maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area
  • communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and managers to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude
  • assist with other tasks as needed, including helping with special events
