- Previous experience in a similar host/hostess role preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with digital reservation systems

Job Duties
- Deliver a genuine, warm Southern welcome to all guests upon arrival and a sincere thank you upon departure
- Strategically manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using the digital reservation system to ensure a smooth, balanced service flow for the kitchen and service staff
- Accurately manage seating for various environments, including standard tables, the patio, and the open-air bar area, paying close attention to guest preferences
- Maintain constant, clear communication with managers and servers regarding table status, anticipated waits, and large party arrivals
- Ensure the entrance, waiting area, and host stand are clean, organized, and reflect the restaurant's welcoming aesthetic
- Complete all opening, running, and closing side work to meticulous standards, including setting up and breaking down stations
- Actively support teammates in daily operations and service flow
